In 1969, while managing a school for J. Pat Burleson, established one of the first "Children's Karate" classes in the United States. Established the Taekwondo school in Escondido, CA, in July of 1971. Originally called the Escondido Academy of Karate.
1975 President of the San Diego County Martial Arts Alliance.
Pioneered Martial Arts instruction for physically challenged students in San Diego, an endeavor which has successfully been carried on by his students.
In 1986, changed the name of Escondido Academy of Karate to "Family Karate".
Assisted instructors throughout the Southwest, in establishing successful Martial Arts Schools.
1987 established "Action Associates". a private investigation and security consulting firm, which conducts seminars on personal, family and workplace security, as well as investigations for child endangerment, and industrial security.
Established "Expert Witness" for crimes involving Martial Arts.
Court Appointed Special Advocate through "Voices For Children", for children in the dependency system.
1997 President, San Diego County Investigators Association.
Presently, a supervising instructor for the Family Karate organization, which includes several schools in Southern California and Northern Baja California, Mexico.
